Our next iteration of the Design Your Life Mission in Mexico will be March 24-29. Prices go up Friday, so if you want to save $200, please register now. I have had quite a bit of interest in this event. Several of you are returning from previous trips. That is incredibly heartwarming. Others aren’t yet positioned to go and I am sure I’ll see them at some future venue. Other great news: We secured Temok for our sacred indigenous ceremonial sweat lodge, the temazcal. Last time we had an excellent temazcalero in Fernando. But Temok is something else. He has returned from the Czech Republic and has upgraded his craft. Be prepared to release and transform.
The Minister of Health is excited for the time we will serve and is looking forward to breaking bread with us. I am presently working on building the website and will likely ask for your input as well. I need you guys too!
I recently saw a post on social media asking the question:
“What are the biggest problems in Chiropractic for upstart practices?”
Some of the answers from seasoned DCs were enlightening; others were not so constructive. Now before I weigh in, I want to get a perspective from the other side. What do YOU think is needed to start a successful practice? Do you even believe you CAN start a successful practice out of the gate? Respond here or you can respond on the WhatsApp Group. You don’t need to be going on this trip to voice your opinion. Part II will contain some of your answers, other doctors’ opinions, and my point of view. Part II will be posted tomorrow, so please take the time to jot down a quick note of what issues you are worried about. If you have no concerns, write that too.
In the meantime, I hope you are getting psyched to expand outside your comfort zone. Remember, if it’s comfortable, you are not likely to grow! The good news is that it doesn’t have to be painful. Just uncomfortable. “Embrace the suck” as they say. And if you are nervous, good! Here’s a little video for you by Steve Jobs. It bears watching. I posted the one with the LARGE subtitles so you can watch it in class, LOL. Talk to you tomorrow.
Oh yeah, here is the registration link. Thank you for sharing. You never know…
